Job Description
The individual chosen for this position will manage the engineering teams that support a 24X7 RF Assembly and Test area responsible for shipment of RF power transistors and hybrid assemblies.

Responsibilities:
h Manage the RF Product Engineering team and provide customer support as required
h Responsible for establishing and driving yield enhancement and quality improvement for packaged RF semiconductor products in a high volume manufacturing environment
h Ensure consistency of methods, tools and processes to meet production yield targets and quality metrics
h Develop yield and capacity models to drive continuous productivity improvement
h Assume lead role in managing subcontractor relationships for out-sourced RF assembly and test
h Oversee the correlation of RF test yields to foundry PCM data and implement corrective action as required
h Support new product transfer into manufacturing via New Product Introduction (NPI) programs
h Work with Production planners and inside sales to meet on-time product delivery goals

Preferred Qualifications:
h Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering
h Working knowledge of hybrid RF assembly and test
h Experience in applications engineering as required for customer support
h Knowledge of automated RF test systems and production measurements
h Experience with offshore assembly and RF electrical test methods is desired
h Excellent verbal and written communication skills
h Must have experience with group motivation and discipline skills
h Must have planning, risk management, and scheduling experience
h Knowledge of RF wafer probe and automatic test handlers is a plus

Minimum Requirements:
h Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science & Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering
h Minimum of 5 years experience managing RF Assembly and Test operations in a production environment
h US citizen or Green card holder
